English learning coach
Spanish conversation facilitator
French course facilitator
Plans conversation activities around everyday tasks and helps learners turn feedback into a simple weekly practice routine.
Builds speaking confidence with short role plays, clear pronunciation cues and patient small-group practice.
Uses travel situations, listening games and visual prompts to make a first French course approachable.
Everyday English
Practice introducing yourself, asking follow-up questions and handling common work and neighborhood conversations. Each meeting combines a short model, paired speaking time and feedback you can use the next day.
Spanish from the Start
Start with greetings, pronunciation and useful phrases for food, travel and meeting people. Short role plays build toward a final café conversation rather than a memorized presentation.
Workplace Writing Lab
Rewrite everyday email, meeting notes and short updates for a clear reader and a useful next step. Bring invented practice examples; sensitive work documents are not used in class.
French for a Weekend Away
Learn to order, ask directions and navigate a hotel arrival with simple, polite French. The pace is relaxed and each lesson ends with a practical mini scenario.

The course descriptions distinguish first-time learners from people who already manage short conversations. An example placement conversation checks your goals and comfort with listening and speaking; it is not an exam.
The listed total covers the stated number of meetings, printed practice materials and the course-specific feedback. Optional books and outside exam fees are not included.
The course outline includes a recap sheet and practice prompts for each session. A missed group meeting does not turn into a private lesson; schedule changes are discussed before enrollment.
A private-group outline can focus on customer conversations or workplace writing. The group agrees a learning goal, meeting time and sample materials before a separate proposal is prepared.
The fictional studio is set in central Portland. Course-planning conversations can be shown remotely; practical sessions use the stated teaching setting.
